Overview
GS-Series Scrap Grapples are designed for scrap handling, recycling center, disaster cleanup, and jobsite cleanup applications that require grappling power to handle material.
Benefits
- Each unit includes two independent-action grapples that allow different-sized objects to be picked up in each grapple Greaseable and hardened 35-mm (1.375-in.) pins with increased cylinder specifications result in improved durability
- An improved hose routing over the previous series grapples eliminates the need for grapple cylinder stops on large frame G-Series Skid Steers
- Open sides on the scrap grapple models allow easy grappling of material that is wider than the bucket.
- For scrap applications where containing the material is required, bolt-on side plates are available
- Increased side cutter, side sheet, and back sheet plate thicknesses, combined with larger torque tubes result in heavy-duty bucket construction for the most demanding applications
- Scrap grapples feature convenient pre-drilled holes on the cutting edges for optional bolt-on, replaceable edge
GS-Series Scrap Grapple
Overview
Accomplish more with increased capacity and improved design.
Benefits
Increased cylinder size
- Cylinder size of 63.5-mm (2.5-in.) bore diameter and 36-mm (1.4-in.) rod diameter delivers high grapple forces to tackle even the most difficult materials
- Grapple arms feature integrated mechanical stop to reduce cylinder load when open
Improved grapple capacity
Improved hose routing
- Durable 90-degree quick-couplers on the hydraulic cylinder hoses eliminate interference with the grapple
- Standard low-profile cylinder guards simplify hose connections
